La Gramigna Gold is a high-strength steel fiber with a high carbon index, ideal for replacing traditional reinforcement in segments, precast elements and all types of concrete where exceptional performance is required. In fact, it can guarantee the highest durability and excellent mechanical resistance to compression (i.e. the support of imposing masses), while maintaining great workability.
In ordinary concretes, cracking of the cement matrix occurs when stress reaches 65% of the compressive strength; La Gramigna Gold brings this threshold to 80%, significantly increasing the reliability of the entire structure. The fibers also act as a diffuse resistant element after micro-cracking, performing a stitching action between the flaps and thus providing a residual tensile strength (toughness) between 1500 and 2500 N/mm₂.
La Gramigna Gold has a high aspect ratio, so it is very important that the fibers are evenly distributed in the mix. For this purpose we offer dedicated and customizable loading and unraveling equipment (see SC99/3 product sheet).
Diameter from 0.50 to 1.00 mm with length between 30 and 60 mm. Tensile strength from 1500 to 2500 MPa.
With single or double hooking.
